吴建堂,1936年生、四川籍,祖籍广东梅州市,常住北京,非物质文化遗产(中国一绝《捻条画》)传承大师,捻条油画创始人,画历83年,现年87岁,4岁起随父(吴道悲教授)习画,受父之画友张大千、徐悲鸿、张采芹指教。继承和革新了捻条画。2010年在北京钓鱼台国宾馆被国家授予《世界杰出艺术大师》称号、证书。中国美协会员,中国国画院名誉院长,文化部中国德艺双馨书画院特聘荣誉院长,国授国内艺术界泰斗、香港皇家社会科学院院士、爵士,香港远程工程学院特聘教授,牛津大学客座教授、联合国文化总署文化大使,中国工美术家协会终身名誉主席,香港文联美协副主席,国际美联理事,联合国新未来机构中国分部新未来名人书画院院士。作品获七次国内、国际美术金牌奖,国务院园丁奖。
